Russian occupying forces once again shelled the city of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region. Fortunately, there were no casualties among the people, but the attacks resulted in damage to buildings and infrastructure. This information has been reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region.

It's reported that as a result of enemy strikes, a summer kitchen and a garage caught fire in the city. The State Emergency Service personnel quickly managed to extinguish the fire. Additionally, seven private residential houses, as well as an equal number of utility structures, and one vehicle were damaged. Furthermore, the shelling caused damage to four gas pipelines and three power lines. It's worth noting that earlier, in Dnipropetrovsk region, buildings of a clinic and a kindergarten were damaged due to the shelling by Russian occupiers. In Myrivska community, the shelling resulted in damage to a multi-apartment building, eleven private cottages, seven power lines, six gas pipelines, an apiary, and two vehicles. Also, a kindergarten, clinic, two cultural institutions, a shop, and an agricultural enterprise were heavily affected. In the Marganets community, an agricultural firm was hit.

Additionally, we reported that on May 6th, as a result of shelling in the Nikopol district, a 71-year-old woman was killed, and seven other individuals were wounded. The city's infrastructure, including private residences, a multi-story building, an educational institution, utility structures, an industrial enterprise's territory, a solar power station, automotive transport, gas supply lines, and power grids, suffered destruction and damage.

Previously, Russian occupiers carried out a missile strike in Odessa region. The Speaker of the Odessa Regional State Administration, Sergiy Bratchuk, clarified that the occupiers attacked Odessa region around midnight using long-range aviation Tu-22m3 bombers. A total of eight launches were made from the area near Cape Tarkhankut (in the occupied Crimea). Some of the missiles did not reach their targets. Later, it was reported that three people (warehouse workers) sustained minor injuries, and they received immediate medical assistance on-site without hospitalization.
