On the night of July 28, Russian occupiers carried out five artillery shelling attacks in Nikopol region, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Hits were recorded in the Marganetska community and the city of Nikopol. This information was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, citing the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
According to preliminary information from rescuers, there were no casualties as a result of the attacks, but the consequences of the shelling are still being clarified. Earlier, during previous attacks with heavy artillery in Dnipropetrovshchyna, several buildings were damaged, including an educational institution, a church, an administrative building, and some two-story houses.
On the eve, in Odesa, the body of a woman was found at the site of a building destroyed by Russian shelling. Rescue teams were assisted by service dogs during the search.
In another incident in Odesa, a civilian security guard was killed during the shelling of the city with "Kalibr" missiles. The attack resulted in the destruction of the security building, two cars, and damage to a port cargo terminal.
During the intense shelling of Odesa with various types of missiles, oil and grain terminals were hit, and loading equipment and reservoirs were damaged. The explosions caused a fire, which was subsequently extinguished by competent services.
