August 29: results of the day

The five hundred fifty-second day of the large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against our state continues. During the day, the enemy carried out 5 missile and 47 aerial strikes, as well as 48 shelling attacks using multiple rocket launchers on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population due to Russian terrorist attacks. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have also been damaged. This information is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In Poltava region, the body of the fourth victim was found at the scene of the attack in the town of Hoholeve. People were working at the oil refinery during the night shift when the Russian occupiers launched an attack.

In Chernihiv region, a car exploded due to an explosive device, resulting in the deaths of two adults, while two children sustained injuries.

In Vinnytsia region, a fighter associated with the so-called "DNR" was detained while attempting to flee to Transnistria.

In Dnipro, children had the opportunity to participate in a celebration with real pyrotechnicians and the dog Patron.

In Poltava, keys to seven school buses were handed over to school directors from various districts of the region.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, rescuers evacuated a family with a small child from a multi-story building during a fire.

In Kirovohrad region, a patriotic run titled "Honoring Warriors, Running for Heroes of Ukraine" took place.

In Dnipro, a special cancellation event was held for a postage stamp dedicated to the memory of fallen Ukrainian soldiers.
