5 July: results of the day

It is the four hundred and ninety-seventh day of the large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against our country. Here is a brief summary of today's main events.

During the night, Russian occupiers launched five Iranian-made strike UAVs of the "Shahed" type. Our air defense systems successfully destroyed two kamikaze drones. Over the past day, the enemy delivered 48 airstrikes and conducted 54 artillery bombardments using multiple rocket launcher systems on the positions of our troops and residential areas.
