July 28: Results of the day

The five hundred and twentieth day of large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine continues. During the past day, the enemy conducted 10 airstrikes and carried out 19 shelling attacks using multiple rocket launchers on the positions of our troops and populated areas. The likelihood of further missile and aviation strikes across Ukraine remains high, as reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky presented passports to young citizens of the country, including the son of a fallen National Guard soldier, Kirill Yuriev.

In Vinnytsia, the largest Ukrainian flag was raised, and flowers were placed at the monuments to outstanding state figures.

In Vinnytsia region, rescuers cleared the aftermath of the weather, including removing 216 fallen trees.

Pyrotechnicians from Dnipropetrovsk region conducted demining of buildings in the village of Dovhenke in Kharkiv region.

In Poltava region, a modular shelter is being constructed for students of one of the educational institutions in Myrhorod.

In the evening, the enemy launched a missile strike on the city of Dnipro. A twelve-story building was damaged, and the building of the Dnipropetrovsk regional branch of the Security Service of Ukraine was on fire.
