Today, Russian occupiers shelled the city of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region with heavy artillery. Around ten shells were fired into the city. Fortunately, there were no casualties among the residents, but several buildings and other infrastructure were severely damaged. This information was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region.

In the city, four private houses were damaged, one utility building was destroyed, and three more were severely affected. Additionally, three power lines were damaged.

Previously, due to shelling from Russian occupiers, a medical clinic and a kindergarten in Dnipropetrovsk region were damaged.

It was also reported that on May 6, as a result of shelling in the Nikopol district, a 71-year-old woman was killed, and seven people were injured. The city's infrastructure, including private residential houses, a multi-story building, educational institutions, utility buildings, an industrial facility, a solar power station, vehicles, gas supply lines, and power grids, was damaged or destroyed.

In Nikopol, a 57-year-old man was injured as a result of shelling, and two multi-story buildings, several private houses, and some utility buildings were damaged. A garage, a minibus, and two power lines were also damaged.

Previously, we reported that in the city of Dnipro, debris from a downed enemy missile hit a four-story building. This incident resulted in the injury of a 32-year-old woman who was subsequently hospitalized. The building's roof and several apartments on the third floor were damaged. Explosive ordnance disposal experts had to evacuate dozens of residents due to the discovery of a missile's warhead section in the building. The missile debris was safely removed by explosive ordnance disposal specialists.
