August 14: results of the day

The five hundred thirty-seventh day of Russia's large-scale armed aggression against our state has begun. Let's briefly summarize the main events of the day that has passed. Over the past day, Russian occupiers launched a missile and aviation strike on Ukrainian territory, using eight "Kalibr" missiles and 15 Iranian combat drones "Shahed-136/131" in the Odesa region. Thanks to the successful combat work of our air defense forces, all "Kalibr" missiles and UAVs were destroyed. In total, the enemy carried out 14 missile strikes and 72 aviation strikes, as well as 63 shelling attacks with rocket artillery on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population due to Russian terrorist attacks. Residential buildings, a shopping center, a student dormitory, kindergartens, schools, and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged or destroyed. This information was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Additionally, two law enforcement officers in the Cherkasy region decided to "investigate" a theft, took an innocent man to the woods, and began to beat him.

The State Bureau of Investigations (DBR) has initiated an investigation into the beating of a serviceman at a military unit in the Odesa region.

A resident of Vinnytsia region supported Russia on Russian social media and acknowledged the armed aggression against Ukraine.
