May 1: Results of the day

It's been four hundred and thirty-two days of large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine. Today, the Russian Federation carried out another massive missile strike on civilian objects in our country. The Russian aggressor cynically continues to employ terror tactics. Throughout the day, the enemy launched 19 missile strikes (successfully intercepted by our defenders, destroying 15 enemy cruise missiles of the types X-101 and X-555), conducted 13 aerial attacks, and initiated 13 shelling incidents using multiple launch rocket systems. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population, including children. Residential high-rises, private homes, schools, hospitals, kindergartens, and other civilian infrastructure have been destroyed or damaged.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, 25 residents, including 3 children, were injured during the shelling.

Odessa athletes have won awards at nationwide and international competitions.

In Odessa, a 12-meter flag was carried through the city, arriving from the heroic Mykolaiv region.

Dnipropetrovsk athletes secured 67 medals at the Ukrainian Championship in hand-to-hand combat.

A rehabilitation center in Poltava region received new equipment under the United24 program.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, thanks were extended to Norwegian friends who provide transportation and equipment for rescuers and the Armed Forces.

In Poltava, the band 'Zhadan and the Dogs' performed and raised funds for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

In Opishnia, the construction of a 500-square-meter shelter is nearing completion.
