May 26: results of the day

The four hundred and fifty-seventh day of the large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine continues. Throughout the day, the adversary launched 18 rocket strikes on settlements in the Kyiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, utilizing 10 air-based cruise missiles X-101/X-555 (destroyed by our defenders). Additionally, twice during the day, the enemy employed 8 guided anti-aircraft missiles S-300/S-400 targeting the city of Dnipro. Furthermore, the enemy conducted 60 aviation strikes, including the use of Iranian combat drones of the "Shahed" type on the cities of Merefa and Izyum in the Kharkiv region. They also deployed guided aerial bombs on the city of Avdiivka and the settlement of New York. Simultaneously, they carried out approximately 34 shelling attacks using reactive multiple-launch rocket systems on our military positions and civilian settlements. Unfortunately, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population, and damage was inflicted on a medical facility in the city of Dnipro, educational institutions in Izyum and New York, as well as residential apartment buildings and private houses. In Dnipropetrovsk region, enemy shelling damaged several enterprises and gas stations.

In Vinnytsia, the largest shelter in the region was arranged at the Pirogov Hospital.

School students from Poltava brought medals from the Gymnasiade in Lviv.

In Vinnytsia region, medical equipment was provided to healthcare professionals from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Since the beginning of the year, 14 people have drowned in Poltava region.

In Dnipro, the enemy launched a missile strike on a residential area of the city.

In Poltava, the Armed Forces of Ukraine were provided with a vehicle that will be deployed to the "hot" zone.
