The five hundred and thirty-ninth day of large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against our country has begun. Let's briefly summarize the main events of the day that is passing.
During the day, the enemy launched 7 missile strikes and 67 airstrikes, as well as conducted 30 shelling attacks using multiple rocket launcher systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties among the civilian population, including children. Port infrastructure in Odesa region suffered damage, as did residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure.
Our air defense successfully destroyed 2 cruise missiles Kh-59 and 13 UAVs "Shahed-136/131."
Border guards found an individual who got lost in the forest on the Ukrainian-Romanian border and required medical assistance. This was reported by the State Border Guard Service. They received a call on their "Hotline" from a man who got lost in the border area and needed medical assistance.

Efforts are ongoing to eliminate the consequences of enemy attacks in Smila. Recall that in the early hours of August 15, two Russian missiles hit completely civilian, peaceful objects: a ceramic manufacturing plant and a hospital. Fortunately, no one was injured. However, several buildings were damaged, windows were shattered by the explosive wave, roofs were damaged by shrapnel, and water and heat supply networks were affected. Currently, 12,000 residents are without water.
The occupation army struck Nikopol and Synelnykove districts. One person was killed, and seven were injured. Among the victims is an 18-year-old young man from the Mezhivska community in Synelnykove district. A 2-year-old girl is also among the injured. She is currently in satisfactory condition and will be treated on an outpatient basis. Three fires were caused by the strikes, which rescuers have already extinguished. A total of 49 private houses were damaged, as well as an agricultural enterprise and a school. Cars were also damaged. There was unrest in Nikopol region as well.
