The four hundred eighty-ninth day of Russia's large-scale armed aggression against our state is ongoing. Within the past day, Russian occupiers conducted 40 airstrikes on Ukrainian territory and carried out 60 shelling attacks on Ukrainian military positions and civilian areas using multiple-launch rocket systems. Among the civilian population, there are casualties, including children. As a result of the shelling, critical infrastructure facilities have been damaged, and over 20 residential buildings, educational institutions, and other civilian infrastructure have been destroyed or damaged. This information was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Specialized equipment from Poltava region has been dispatched to assist Kherson region in dealing with the aftermath of the Russian invaders' destruction of the Kakhovske HES (Hydroelectric Power Plant).

From Dnipro, thirty-one pieces of equipment were sent to the frontlines of Ukraine's defense. Military personnel received the keys to various vehicles, including cars, buggies, and quad bikes.

As a result of the shelling by Russian occupiers in Nikopol, two enterprises and private houses were damaged. Hostile shells inflicted damage on one of the municipal enterprises and hit one of the power facilities, resulting in power outages for over 2,600 households.

In Vinnytsia, tram traffic will be restored after the reconstruction of an intersection is completed.

Representatives from thirteen regions are helping to eliminate the consequences of the Russian occupiers' destruction of the Kakhovske HES in Kherson region. Medical professionals, rescuers, and volunteers from various parts of Ukraine are working in Kherson region these days.

In Kropyvnytskyi, volunteers on bicycles are visiting representatives of the low-mobility population.

In Odesa region, swimming in the sea has been prohibited due to mines and infections.

In Poltava, over 300 people participated in a sports and health event called "Active Parks – Poltava Run." The oldest participant was 78 years old, and the youngest was only 5. Each of the participants who completed the 5-kilometer race received a finisher's medal.
