The four hundred and seventy-first day of the large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against our state is ongoing.
Last night, the Russian aggressor attacked Ukrainian territory using cruise missiles X-101/X-555 and Iranian strike drones of the "Shahed" type. These attacks targeted both civilian infrastructure and military facilities.
The air defense forces of the Ukrainian Air Force, along with other defense units, successfully intercepted and destroyed four out of seven X-101/X-555 missiles and four out of ten "Shahed" drones. In addition, they managed to neutralize a "Lancet" and four tactical UAVs ("Orlan-10" and "Supercam").
Throughout the day, the enemy launched 58 airstrikes with the use of aviation and conducted 31 artillery strikes targeting Ukrainian military positions and populated areas. These attacks resulted in civilian casualties, private homes being damaged or destroyed, and even one hospital coming under fire.
Over Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Russian missiles and drones were also intercepted, with the debris falling in the Novomoskovsk District. This caused damage to two private houses, a car, and a gas pipeline. Fortunately, there were no casualties in this incident.
Ukrainians have been warned about fake social media profiles impersonating regional and district military administrations, which disseminate false information.
In other news, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast to discuss the supply of drinking water to the region. Following the meeting, additional equipment will be deployed to deliver water to areas in need.
In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukrainian rescuers received thirty units of equipment from domestic and international donors, including contributions from Norway and Scotland.
Rescue workers and police from Odessa Oblast are assisting in rescuing people in the flooded areas of Kherson Oblast, especially focusing on the elderly, families with children, and people with disabilities.
In Vinnytsia Oblast, discussions were held on the upbringing of future Olympic champions.
In Uman, Cherkasy Oblast, emergency response teams are working to mitigate the impact of missile strikes on civilian infrastructure, including a car wash and an empty facility.
In Odessa, an intellectual forum is taking place, which includes the "OdesaBiblioSummit" and the XXIII All-Ukrainian Book Exhibition-Forum "Ukrainian Books in Odessa."
From Kirovohrad Oblast, essential supplies are being sent to Kherson Oblast, including water, water containers, over three hundred packages containing dry soups and tablets for water purification, hygiene products, boats, blankets, water pumps, gas cylinders, pet food, and cages for animal care.
