July 7. Results of the day

The four hundred and ninety-ninth day of Russia's large-scale armed aggression against our country is ongoing. Let's briefly summarize the events of the day that is passing.

Today, during the night, Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine's territory with Iranian combat drones of the "Shahed" type. The General Staff reported that 12 out of 18 combat UAVs were destroyed by air defense units, fighter aircraft, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, the enemy carried out a missile strike on one of the infrastructure facilities in Zaporizhzhia. They also conducted 42 aviation strikes and fired around 30 salvos from multiple launch rocket systems at our troops' positions and civilian settlements. Regrettably, the civilian infrastructure was destroyed, and innocent people were affected.

On Friday, July 7th, Russian occupation forces attacked Dnipropetrovsk region with "Shahed" drones, resulting in two fatalities.

In Kirovohrad region, a traitor who got employed at a defense enterprise and handed over classified documents to the enemy has been identified.

The upcoming Friday, July 14th, will be observed as a day of mourning in Vinnytsia to commemorate those who lost their lives due to an enemy missile attack on July 14th of the previous year.

Photographs taken by the late officer of the 118th Brigade have been exhibited in the center of Cherkasy. The photo exhibition of Volodymyr Mukan, who died in the Russia-Ukraine war, is being held in the "Youth" square.

A 33-year-old resident of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district will face legal action as he destroyed 1.5 hectares of arable land by failing to extinguish the remains of a campfire during a picnic and throwing coal into the reeds, causing a fire.

As part of the project to restore the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region, Kirovohrad region will take responsibility for one of the communities in Kherson region – the village of Mala Oleksandrivka.

A priest of the UOC (Moscow Patriarchate) who was found guilty of assaulting a priest of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine with a cross at the funeral of a Ukrainian serviceman has been fined 765 hryvnias and ordered to pay 5,000 hryvnias in moral damages.

In Odesa region, a woman who sold surrogate alcohol in a store in Starostyne village has been arrested. Consumption of this unknown alcohol has led to the death of four people, while seven more are in critical condition in the hospital.

Three cases of rabies in dogs were detected in Dnipropetrovsk region, one of which was in Kryvyi Rih district.

Internally displaced persons from various parts of Ukraine, who were forced to leave their homes due to the war, recently visited Dykanka, a town in Poltava region, on an interactive excursion. This trip was part of the "Shelter Poltava" project.

In Vinnytsia, to commemorate those who lost their lives during an enemy missile attack on July 14, 2022, sakura trees have been planted in Victory Square.
