The five hundred and seventh day of the large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against our state continues. Let's briefly summarize the main events of the day that is passing.

During the current day, the Russian Federation launched a missile and aviation strike using two Iranian UAVs of the "Shahed" type and two guided anti-aircraft missiles on Ukraine. Thanks to the successful work of Ukraine's air defense systems, two attack UAVs were destroyed.

Additionally, the enemy carried out 32 airstrikes and conducted 15 shelling attacks using rocket artillery systems.

Today, the President of the Republic of Korea, Yoon Suk-yeol, and the First Lady, Kim Keon-hee, are visiting Ukraine.

Ivan Vygovskyy has been appointed as the Head of the National Police of Ukraine. This decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on July 14. Earlier, General of Police Ivan Vygovskyy was temporarily entrusted with the duties of the Head of the National Police.

Starting on July 14, within the initiative "Vinnichany Vazhlyvi," humanitarian aid is being provided to the families of Vinnytsia residents who are registered with the Department of Social Policy and have children with disabilities. Currently, there are about 1,800 such families registered with the department.

The family of the late border guard sergeant Yevheniy Pyndyk, who died in Bahmut during an artillery shelling, was awarded a posthumous medal for bravery and selfless actions in fulfilling their duties to protect the state border and the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

The decision to rename several streets, lanes, a square, and an ascent was made by the deputies during a session of the Cherkasy City Council on July 13. The streets Volkhova, Gagarina, Glinki, Palokhy, Sergeant Smirnov, Promyslovy Lane, Dachny Ascent, and Smirnov Square in Cherkasy have received new names.

Archaeological excavations are ongoing within the territory of the Dominican Monastery Complex in Vinnytsia, conducted by the Vinnytsia Regional Local Lore Museum. This year's goal of the Archaeological Expedition of the Vinnytsia Regional Local Lore Museum is to complete research on the site, refine the discovered objects, and provide more accurate dating. Among the artifacts found this year are clay tobacco pipes ("nose warmers") for smoking, various types of pottery and stove tiles, as well as coins from the Russian Empire.

The Palanka territorial community in the Uman region has won a case against the Russian Federation, which damaged their property with rockets. According to the decision, the occupying country must compensate for the damage of 156,159,512.83 hryvnias caused by Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine. The plaintiff complained that a local lyceum was damaged during the shelling.

Poltava athlete Vitaliy Shovkoplyas successfully set a world record in the category of "Most Pull-Ups with One Hand in 1 Minute" on his second attempt.
