The five hundred and twenty-sixth day of the large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against our country is ongoing. Here is a brief summary of the main events of the day:
Russian drone strikes: Russian forces launched another series of drone strikes using Iranian attack UAVs "Shahed-136/131" against Ukraine. All 15 enemy "Shahed" drones were successfully destroyed by the Ukrainian Air Forces, in cooperation with air defense systems and other defense forces.
Ongoing shelling: Russian forces continue their aggression with 1 missile strike, 47 airstrikes, and 23 artillery barrages on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, causing damage and casualties among the civilian population.
Civilian casualties: Unfortunately, there are civilian casualties as a result of the attacks.
In the Kryvyi Rih region of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, a new pipeline section was completed, along with the launch of a new pumping station to provide water supply to residents. Water supply will be restored to twenty populated areas, benefiting around 40,000 people.
SSU operation: In Odessa, the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) arrested a man who was providing the aggressor with targets for airstrikes on the city, tracking the locations and movements of Ukrainian air defense units, and reporting the consequences of missile strikes and drone attacks.
Heating disconnection: In Kropyvnytskyi, 124 apartments in 19 buildings are planned to be disconnected from centralized heating. Residents of these apartments will be compensated 40% for the installation of individual heating.
Interviews for veterans' assistants: In Vinnytsia Oblast, interviews have begun for the selection of veterans' assistants as part of a pilot project by the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine. Twenty-four candidates have applied for this position.
Arrest of draft dodger aid provider: An employee of the Myrgorod District Territorial Center and Social Protection, suspected of providing certificates that helped individuals evade military service, has been taken into custody.
