June 23: results of the day

It has been four hundred and eighty-fifth day of large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against our country. Let's briefly summarize the main events of the day that has passed.

During the night of June 23, 2023, the enemy carried out an airstrike on a military airfield in Khmelnytskyi Oblast. The attack was targeted at Ukraine from strategic aviation aircraft. All 13 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles were successfully intercepted by the air defense, with most of them falling in the Khmelnytskyi region, according to the General Staff.

On July 1, at 3:00 PM, the eighth Field Kitchen Festival dedicated to the Constitution Day of Ukraine and the memory of the fallen heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian war will begin in the M. Leontovych Central Park in Vinnytsia. The organizers plan to donate the collected funds to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Following news of a possible terrorist threat at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, there was a rush to purchase potassium iodide in Poltava and other regions of Ukraine. However, experts emphasize that no scenario at the nuclear power plant requires iodine prophylaxis.
