Day four hundred and thirty-eight of the large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against our state continues. Here's a summary of the day that has passed:
During this day, the enemy carried out 8 missile strikes, including 2 S-300 missiles hitting a civilian enterprise in Balakliia, Kharkiv region, resulting in injuries to 5 civilians. Additionally, the occupiers launched 5 Russian X-22 missiles at civilian objects in the Mykolaiv region and one X-22 missile at targets in Kherson region, with no casualties reported. The enemy also conducted 22 aerial strikes and over 10 shelling attacks from multiple rocket launchers on the positions of our troops and the city of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region. Unfortunately, there are civilian casualties, and damage has been done to a high-rise building, private residences, and other civilian infrastructure, as reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the nine months of operation, nearly 5,500 people have turned to mobile medical teams of the Red Cross in Poltava region. Most of these cases are related to cardiovascular diseases.
An alley of sakura trees has blossomed in the Dnipro University of Railway Transport Park. This year, the alley has been fenced off, but people still come to admire and take photos near these springtime trees.

On May 6, both during the day and night, occupiers fired artillery and rocket systems, including Grad multiple launch rocket systems, at the cities of Nikopol, Marganets, Pokrovske, and the Myrivska community in the Nikopol district. As a result of the enemy's shelling, one person was killed, and there are injuries.
In Odesa region, a 46-year-old woman killed her landlord, threw the body into a well, and covered it with garbage. She then continued to live with her husband in the premises she had rented from the victim, explaining the landlady's absence as a business trip.
In Pavlograd, Dnipropetrovsk region, electricity supply has been restored, which was lost following a missile strike that occurred on the night of May 1, 2023.
