July 20: Results of the day

The five hundred and twelfth day of large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against our state continues. During the night, Russian occupiers launched a massive rocket and air strike on Ukraine, using 3 sea-launched "Kalibr" cruise missiles, 5 ground-launched "Iskander-K" cruise missiles, 4 X-22 cruise missiles, 7 "Onyx" cruise missiles, and 19 "Shahed" combat UAVs. Thanks to the efforts of the Air Force's anti-aircraft defense and the air defense systems of other components of Ukraine's defense forces, 2 "Kalibr" cruise missiles, 3 ground-launched "Iskander-K" cruise missiles, and 13 "Shahed" combat UAVs were destroyed.

The enemy also conducted 40 aerial strikes and 46 artillery shelling with multiple rocket launchers. As a result of enemy attacks, there are casualties among the civilian population, residential buildings, industrial facilities, and civil and administrative infrastructure have been damaged.

In the missile strike on Odessa, a man born in 2002 was killed, and the port infrastructure was damaged. Eight people were injured in the shelling, including one child.

In Mykolaiv, the occupiers targeted a residential building with a missile, resulting in the deaths of a married couple. Nine people were hospitalized, including five children.

During the night, the enemy once again shelled the Dnipropetrovsk region with heavy artillery, damaging residential buildings and an agricultural enterprise.

A graduate of a sports school in Kropyvnytskyi will participate in the European Youth Olympic Festival.

In Dnipropetrovsk, 14 schools received buses from partners in France.

Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law regulating the dismissal of military personnel to reserve during martial law.

Over two hundred workers from Poltava region assisted in the elimination of the consequences of the Kherson region Hydroelectric Power Station explosion.

Sappers from Cherkasy will be demining the liberated territories in the Kharkiv and Kherson regions.
