August 18. Results of the day

The five hundred and forty-first day of Russia's large-scale armed aggression against our state is ongoing. Let's briefly summarize the main events of the day that has passed.

During the day, the enemy launched 1 missile strike and 31 aerial attacks, conducting 45 shelling incidents with multiple rocket launcher systems against our troops' positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, there were casualties among the civilian population, and residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

The likelihood of missile and aerial strikes across Ukraine's territory remains high, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In Buenos Aires, Argentina, the World Swimming Championship for athletes with hearing impairments has been ongoing from August 14 to 19. Ukraine is represented by athletes from Kropyvnytskyi Children and Youth Sports School No. 1, Irina Tereshchenko and Daria Tarasenko.
