Today marks the four hundred ninety-fourth day of full-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against our country. Let's briefly summarize the events of the day that has passed.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian occupiers launched 11 missile strikes and employed 8 Iranian UAVs of the "Shahed" type. Additionally, the enemy conducted 40 aerial attacks and fired approximately 30 volleys from rocket artillery systems on the positions of our troops and civilian areas. Unfortunately, in addition to the destruction of civilian infrastructure, innocent people have been harmed. The likelihood of missile and aerial strikes across Ukraine remains high, according to the General Staff.

During the night of July 2, 2023, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine using Iranian combat drones of the "Shahed" type and three cruise missiles "Kalibr." The missile attack targeted Odessa and Mykolaiv regions, but all aerial targets were successfully neutralized by our forces.

In Dnipro Region, centralized water supply has been launched in Pokrovo, but the water is not yet safe for consumption.

In Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro Region, a traffic accident occurred, where a Daewoo-Sens driver crashed into a metal fence, resulting in the vehicle catching fire, and the driver lost his life.

In Vinnytsia Region, a resident held a person captive in his mother's apartment, taking him to a farm and chaining him.

In the village of Vesele, Pavlohrad District, Dnipro Region, local residents witnessed a huge bison in the middle of the cemetery. It was seen feeding on yew branches on a soldier's grave.

In the city of Bolhrad, Odessa Region, a patient who was hospitalized during childbirth unexpectedly gave birth in an ambulance.

A resident of Kherson, whose family was killed by a Russian missile during the Kakhovske HES explosion, walked to Odesa, accompanied by just his dog.

Residents of Pokrovo may receive financial assistance, with the city council providing details of who is eligible and the necessary documents.

On July 2, President Volodymyr Zelensky officially visited Odesa, where he met with the Commander of the Ukrainian Naval Forces, Oleksiy Neizhpapa.

Several Odessa beaches had cholera-like bacteria detected by laboratory specialists. While these agents cannot cause cholera, they can lead to acute gastrointestinal infections in both adults and children.

In the Pryshybska community of Kremenchuk District, Poltava Region, the reconstruction of a building for internally displaced persons is ongoing. Work began in the fall of 2022, and currently, ten families have applied for housing.
