May 23. Results of the day

The four hundred fifty-fourth day of the large-scale armed aggression by the Russian Federation against our country continues. Let's briefly summarize the day that has passed.

During this day, there were no missile strikes. However, the adversary conducted 25 aerial strikes and carried out more than 20 shelling attacks with multiple rocket launchers on the positions of our troops and residential areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population, and private residential buildings and administrative infrastructure have been damaged, as reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A day of psychological relief and hippotherapy was organized for 40 children from military families in Vinnytsia. They enjoyed horseback riding, fed animals at a petting zoo, and even created keychains with their own hands.

In Nikopol, during an argument, a 42-year-old local resident beat another man to death. The police were contacted by the neighbors when he had not been in contact for several days.

On May 23, Russian occupiers shelled the city of Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region, causing damage to the civilian infrastructure.

A drainage system was constructed with a loss of 4.3 million UAH: officials of the Dnipro City Council have received suspicions. The criminal activity was organized by employees of the local government agency, one of whom was the director of one of the departments of the Dnipro City Council at the time of the crime. The second suspect is an inspector from the technical supervision department of the same unit.

Additional pyrotechnic units are being formed in the Kirovohrad region for demining operations in Ukraine. They plan to recruit 47 individuals there.

Seventeen-year-old Oksana Melnyk, a student at Ladyzhyn Vocational College of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University, became the world champion in martial arts among athletes with musculoskeletal impairments.
